Armut

I could not receive a Studentenwerk dormitory even though I am not financially eligible. I had been looking for this private dormitory for 4 months and it was nearly impossible to find. I had to start university at November because of accommodation and I informed the university and Studentenwerk that I can not come if I can’t find an affordable place. My room is not affordable but I will work for 20 hours per week starting from 1st of February to continue living in Germany. Comparing with my monthly income my rent will be %75 of it and I will pay 125 EUR for my health insurance as well. So it is essential for me to stay in a Studentenwerk dorm.
