I’m not eligible for student dormitory because I am more than 30 years old. I find the Potsdam housing market not so active – not so many offerings on WG-gesucht. The biggest problem for me is I find it hard to get apartment viewing – racial factor plays a role, compared to white people, it’s harder for us bearing a foreign name. In my case, I am an Eastern Asian, and the only two apartment viewings I got are from Eastern Asian landlords, which is rare on the market.
